Have you ever ruined a dish.
I just did...
I ruined it completely.
It was an egg, then it was scrambled.
They were hash now they are smashed.
I ate it like a caveman as well.
Their disassembled look making me lose all decorum.
Ironically it wasn't badly cooked,
I just didn't have any cooking tools.
It tasted OK.
I feel like a failure...
Whenever you acidentally scramble an egg again, try the following: Remove the egg(s) from the frying pan. Place as many loaves of bread as there were eggs on the pan. Wait for them to look a little toasted, cut a circle at the centre of the loaves, and turn the loaves over (you may dispose of the bread circles if you wish). Place a scrambled egg in the hole in each bread. Wait for the egg to cook properly.
ReplyDelete(As far as I know, my younger brother invented this recipe. He calles it "eggs in a basket".)
Cheers!
Hmm. I received an e-mail saying you'd left a comment as a reply to mine, but I can't find it here.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I love butter too, so that wouldn't usually be a problem for me (I suppose there are a few dishes that REALLY don't go well with butter, though..).
If you ever try making eggs in a basket, please let me know how it went.
Cheers!
